Our doors come with a wide range of glazing options, which can be selected when you order your door. 

Single, double, triple or quadruple layers of glazing can be installed to suit your budget and energy requirements. Single glazing has the lowest solar gain. This option is available in either clear or bronze tinted glass (which reduces solar gain but also allows more light into your home). 

Double glazing consists of two sheets of glass separated by an inert gas such as argon or krypton; this increases insulation performance and reduces heat loss through the window frame itself. It also improves soundproofing properties compared with single-glazed windows due to its increased mass. 

Triple glazed units have even more thermal efficiency than double glazed ones due to their extra layer between each pane of glass (they are generally used where very high levels of insulation performance are required). Finally quadruple glazing adds another layer on top again for even greater thermal efficiency.
